MICRONIC offers a comprehensive range of tubes intended for maintaining sample integrity, sample storage and sample traceability requirements.  This range includes non-coded, alphanumeric and 2 variants of 2D bar coded tubes.  In addition to the various tube sizes and bottom profiles available, the MICRONIC tube range also includes special requirement tubes such as those for light sensitive samples (Black tubes) and for biologically active samples (Glass tubes).  MICRONIC is the only manufacturer to laser encrypt inside the solid propylene code area guaranteeing the highest resistance to solvent exposure.  MICRONIC's commitment to high quality standards ensure every tube is designed with precision, reliability, and consistency.

 Tracker "A" family of tubes

These cost-effective alternative tubes have been specially designed for compatibility with common non-MICRONIC racks and tracking systems. The external and internal dimensions have been modified to accommodate automation requirements.  The Tracker "A" Family of tubes are allencrypted with the 2D Data Matrix bar code.

 MICRONIC Refill Carrier

Especially designed to allow the refilling of an empty rack with pre-labelled Alpha-numeric, plain, or 2D coded tubes, the refill carrier is a simple way to cost-effectively re-use racks.  All 96 tubes are supplied firmly retained within the carrier.  Once placed within the rack, the tubes can be individually removed for normal use.
 

  Why 2d Coding?

The most reliable form of long-term sample management and traceability is a permanent unique 2D code on the bottom of tubes.  2D coding offers a virtually fail-safe method to store and keep track of hundreds of samples.  MICRONIC tubes are permanently marked with either Tracker Data Matrix or TraXis Dot Code to ensure clear identification of samples in use, in transport, or those subject to misplacement.  Tubes or entire racks can be scanned and decoded without being removed from the rack, giving users the opportunity to increase the productivity and efficiency of their sample tracking process.  100% of all MICRONIC 2D coded tubes are read before leaving the factory to guarantee quality.
