Our test plates exhibit the finest workmanship combined with ease of inscription and continuous growth treatment. The lid has an air-venting system and guarantees a controlled gas exchange. The yellow inscription areas offer a place for identification notes. Experienced users value the sloped edge of the lid that ensures it can only be placed in one position on the test plate. The inscription areas support this positioning inasmuch that yellow goes to yellow! The growth zone is only available on the spherical base and not on the sides. This causes a flattening of the meniscus and thus a reduction of light scattering. The 96-size is standardized with an interleaved barcode 2/5. The white base color is embossed firmly on the polystyrene and eliminates the possibility of loss of identification through detachment. The absolutely flat floor area, free from inclusions, guarantees the highest level of transparency.
 

The tissue culture membrane inserts (Maxicell) fit into the tissue culture test plates. Among the practical advantages of this system are an almost in vivo environment, the cultivation of adherent and suspended tissues, dispensing partly with the need to coat collages and other matrix coatings, being able to follow the growth phase in three dimensions and the co-cultivation of tissues on the base of the TC plate.

The alphanumeric well coordination is inlaid in black and can be clearly recognised at practical distances.
 

The interleaved barcode 2/5 makes each test plate numerically unique because the eight digit lot number combined with the eight digit serial number can never give a second identical result.

The inserts are surface treated and guarantee optimum adherence for tissue polarity and transport studies.
