Enhanced Safety Features

Big red emergency stop button – which will pause all operations immediately, but upon release the user can select continue, so it acts like an emergency pause rather than aborting everything.

Barcode Scanner – labels are provided for each amino acid and extra configurable barcodes for non-natural or modified amino acids. Setting up a peptide is as simple as scanning the barcode on the instrument, the software will confirm the Amino acid and its position, and the user presses ‘next’ and drops in the next AA vial to read the barcode. Simple, easy, fast and safe set up, making the Tribute’s use across departments even more realistic.

Safe shut down wash – As with the Prelude, if the system goes in to error it will empty the RV and wash with the desired solvent to ‘save’ the chemistry so it can be restated after the user has sorted the error (such as running out of solvent)

AA filter flush – this is a feature that allows the user to deliver the AA in two parts, flushing the in-line filter back to the AA vial and re-dissolving before delivering again. This is ideal if running at higher concentrations of AA or with modified Amino acids that do not dissolve easily such as Biotin.
